Notice of Transition – Administrative Assistant Pinkston L. Bell, Jr.

This correspondence is being sent at the request of our Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Prince E.W. Bryant, Sr.

It is with great regret and sorrow that I inform you of the passing of Elder Pinkston L. Bells, Jr., Administrative Assistant to Bishop Prince E. W. Bryant, Sr. and Pastor of Buck Street Memorial Church Of God In Christ.

Administrative Assistant Bell was a dedicated supporter of the Texas South Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, a pillar of strength and steadfastness in the Northwest Houston District, a strong and courageous pastor of Buck Street Memorial COGIC, a loving husband, father and grandfather, and an overall GREAT man and servant of God and God’s people. He was a giant of a man who stood tall for the Cause of Christ.

The funeral arrangements for Pastor Bell are as follows:

Administrative Assistant Pinkston L. Bell, Jr. will lay in repose on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Carl Barnes Funeral Home, 746 W 22nd Street, Houston, TX 77008.

There will also be a time of viewing on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the Homegoing Celebration will commence at 11:00 a.m. Thursday’s viewing and service will be held at Buck Street Memorial COGIC located at 3510 Des Chaumes Street, Houston, TX 77020.

All Jurisdictional Executive Staff members that will be in attendance are asked to wear your “Class A” vestments and all Pastors and Elders that will be in attendance are asked to wear your “Class B” vestments.

The final remains have been entrusted to Carl Barnes Funeral Home, 746 W 22nd Street, Houston, TX 77008.

Please continue to keep Mother Earline Bell, the Bell family and the Buck Street family in your prayers during this time of great sorrow.
